It’s time for another dram from Douglas Laing’s Provenance range. This time we’ve tasted a 12-year old Dailuaine bottled at 46% ABV and without any added colouring and no chill-filtration.
Lovely sherry notes with lemon, lime, pears and green apples. Some white pepper and raisins too.
I recognize the sherry notes here too with sweet fruits together with some cinnamon and white pepper.
A medium length with some great sweet tones of fruits.
This was better than expected. I didn’t have any high thoughts about this dram at first, but it changed immediately when I maved the glass under my nose My first thought was – I must have a sip. With a great feeling at nose, palate and finish I score this Dailuaine 92 points.
